7 reasons why you MUST have your own info product

Answer this question: What’s the most common reason people get online each and every day? The answer is simple – they’re looking for information. Information seeking is so huge that Google alone hosts 400,000,000 searches every day! OK, so what’s it to you? It means that you have a massive opportunity to give people exactly what they’re looking for – information. And to earn some cash for doing it!

What is info marketing?

First, understand that this is the simplest kind of business there is. You take information and turn it into a digital product – like and ebook. And then sell it to people who want to learn the info in it. Sounds simple enough, right?

How does it work?

You’ve got the basic concept – exchange info for money. In order to be successful there has to be value in the info you’re selling. So step one is to discover what kind of info people want. How do you do that?

A super simple trick is to just to check “answer” sites. Head over to ask.com or Yahoo! answers and see what kinds of questions people are asking. You want to find something a lot of people are asking about. Something that most people don’t already know. And provide the answer – in the form of an info product.

An encouraging word

Don’t worry! Info product creation is easy… Think about this: An info product is just a bunch of articles strung together. So instead of sitting down to write the whole thing. Just try to write one or two articles a day. And when you’ve got a few finished, refine and expand on them and put them together into an ebook.

So, what’s so great about ebooks? Interestingly enough, we’re back to the name of this article Here are the seven reasons

1. Simplicity

As soon as you have the pieces in place, it’s virtually maintenance free. And your customers need very little support. So it’s nearly a 100% hands-free business. It’s like having an automated cash machine.

You don’t have any inventory. There’s nothing to ship. It’s all delivered online.

2. Product combos

After you’ve created a few ebooks. You can put together bigger more expensive information products. It’s very easy to package multiple ebooks together as one new one. And you’ll be able to charge much more for this “new” product. Your customers will gladly pay more for a single bigger ebook. As opposed to a bunch of little ones.

3. Private label right

When you own the product, you can sell resell rights to it. Resell rights are very hot right now, because it’s much easier to get the resell right than to make your own product. And what’s more you’re selling the same product . . . but for 3 times the price for the rights!

4. Leverage

It’s your content, so you can use it in as many different ways as you want. Break it apart and create a multi-part email series with it. And build an email list that you can sell other products to.

5. More leverage

Utilize your content in as many ways as you can – like creating a few reports from parts of the ebook. These reports can then become lead generators for your ebook. They can be free or low prices. And it still benefits you because it in a lead-in for the main product. Taking this technique to the max, you can let your affiliate give the reports away for you. Affiliate, you say? Yes!

6. An army of affiliates

This is a real power strategy. When you own your own products. You’re able to let other people market it for you. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a bunch of other people doing your marketing for you? Well, you *need* your own product to get affiliates.

7. Joint Ventures

OK, this is by far the biggest reason why. Joint ventures are the biggest short cut to success known to man. And this is probably the number one reason to create your own product. No products of your own = no way to do joint ventures.

In closing

If you don’t want to sell digital products by now, then you haven’t been paying attention. With your own info product you can write your own ticket. Because you’re 100% in control. So just get started:

  • Go to answers.yahoo.com
  • See what people are asking about
  • Start providing information

Information product development really is that simple. And in no time you’ll have an info product ready to go.

    Hi Ron

The amount of people searching the web for information is mind blowing. You wonder how we ever did it before. This is the instant age and we want it now…

A little about me – My name is Sue McDonald and I am a student of Mark Terrell and I am actually going through the course a second time – by invitation. I love it and know if I do all he says, I will be successful. I am Australian but the US is my second home as I have family there and visit quite often. This is why I started Internet Marketing so I can travel whenever I want and have the money to do what I want.

Well I hope you are doing well and you become very successful. I would love you to come visit my blog and leave a comment.

    Kind regards

  4. Hey Ron

I have just come for a visit to your site. How are you going?

Yes it’s Mark and I am following my students as they post on other peoples blogs. They don’t know that I am always checking to see they are getting results. I am passionate about helping them achieve and then they are able to make some money online exactly the same as I am doing. It is not really difficult as long as they are willing to put in the effort.

Always pleasing if I can see some of my students have posted comments. Keep up the good work.

    Regards

    Mark
